Structured pack walks are so much more than a walk around your neighborhood. We pick your dog up at home and take him/her for a 1.5 to 2 hour long walk in a pack structure. Walks are varied and can include urban settings or more nature-oriented spaces.
Pack walks are extremely helpful in resetting problem behavior, building confidence and positive social skills in a safe and structured way. We expose dogs to different everyday situations such as busy shopping districts/centers, crowds, loud noises, active construction sites, other dogs on leash and behind fences, squirrels, birds, skateboards, bicycles and many more.
During a pack walk we can work on a variety of issues you might be facing with your dog. We frequently use the walks to shape and strengthen leash manners, work with dogs who are highly reactive, teach them the difference between play time and calm time, work on impulse control and many other useful skills.
Our pricing is based on a membership-type monthly rate, NOT on a price per walk. Your rate will reserve a spot for your dog in the pack for a certain number of days per week. Our program is designed for consistency, and we do not do drop ins. If a dog is absent, we do not fill that space with another dog. A set monthly price allows us to hold that spot just for your dog as well as keeping income stable for us and our staff. Built into the price are paid holidays and 2 weeks of time off for staff. We strive to always have coverage, and in the event that we can’t, when able extra walks will be added as make up days.
Monthly Pack Walk Rates:
1 day//week - $250/month
2 days/week- $400/month
3 days/week- $550/month
4 days/week- $685/month
5 days/week- $785/month
Add-on walks are $42/walk

The Working Walk is now teaming up with Oakland’s best dog daycare, Dog Social Club, to offer pack walks for its members from their facilities in West Oakland.
